The following was submitted by the First Congregational Church in Winchester:

Do you have a special pair of jeans or sweater that needs mending, a lamp in need of repair, a bicycle that needs attention or kitchen knives that could use sharpening? Come and be a part of the sustainability movement and community by repairing and restoring rather than adding to landfills……..while making new friends along the way!

On Saturday, March 9, First Congregational Church in Winchester, 21 Church St., will hold a Repair Shop, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., at Chidley Hall.

So tell your friends and colleagues about the Repair Cafe!

Also if you have any unused TV remotes, please drop them off at the Repair Cafe and they will be put to good use again. One of the volunteers pairs them with rescued and reconditioned TV’s he donates.
