St. Peter’s Anglican Church of Uganda opens

There’s a new church in town, St. Peter’s Anglican Church of Uganda, in the former Second Congregational Church on Washington St.  Rev. Amos Kimera is the rector and pictures on Facebook show the ribbon cutting ceremony on Oct. 25.  The church spokesperson could not be reached for a comment. 

The Anglican Church of Uganda is among the church groups “in communion” with the Anglican church, which in the United States is know as the Episcopal Church.
