A group of Winchester residents knew there was a need for a comprehensive news outlet serving Winchester after the loss of the Winchester Star and formed a nonprofit with a board of directors. Our board includes Emily Costello, who is a former editor of the Winchester Star and Newton Tab; Peter Casey, who is the former director of news and programming at WBZ News Radio; and Joyce Westner who is a former newspaper stringer. In addition, we have Casey Bauer who was a nonprofit development director, Tara Hughes a former practicing attorney and Alison swallow a former financial industry professional. The board is working hard to create a digital news outlet for the Winchester community and needs your support. Subscribe today.
